Big Walk has been available on four platforms since its August 4, 2026 launch:

What about Xbox and Switch 1?
House House has been direct about this: no other platforms are planned at this time. That means no Xbox version and no original-Switch version. If that changes, we’ll update this page.
Which version should your group buy?
It mostly doesn’t matter — Big Walk has full crossplay, so a PS5 player, a Steam player and a Switch 2 player can all walk together. Four practical notes:
- PS5 owners with PlayStation Plus should claim it free before September 1, 2026 rather than buying it anywhere.
- Critics rated the versions quite differently: 92 on PC, 88 on PS5, 75 on Switch 2 (Metacritic). The design is identical; the gap is about how the port runs.
- The Mac App Store version doesn’t support a friends list, so those players join sessions with a Join Code (which works fine — the host reads out a short code, everyone types it in).
- The host’s machine matters more than anyone else’s: hosting is heavier on performance and network. Put your most stable PC/console on hosting duty. More on that in the FAQ.

Is Big Walk on Xbox?
No. Big Walk is not available on Xbox, and House House says no platforms beyond the announced ones are planned at this time.
Is Big Walk on the original Nintendo Switch?
No — only Nintendo Switch 2. The original Switch is not among the announced platforms.
Is Big Walk on Game Pass?
No — there's no Xbox version at all, so no Game Pass release. It is, however, on PlayStation Plus: the PS5 version was a day-one Monthly Games title, free to claim on every tier until September 1, 2026.
Does the Switch 2 version support mouse controls?
Yes — House House confirmed Big Walk supports the Nintendo Switch 2's mouse mode, alongside regular controller input.
Which platform is the best version?
PC leads on critical reception (Metacritic 92, versus 88 on PS5 and 75 on Switch 2). Crossplay means the choice doesn't affect who you can play with — but if your group is choosing freely, the Switch 2 port is the weakest reviewed.
